The EX1000 has been successfully measuring oil and grease effluent since August / 08. It has performed beyond expectation with no maintenance issues since start-up, most likely due to the very effective self cleaning option. Other online oil and grease measurement technologies have been tested and were unsuccessful. Customer support from ASI is excellent; they have a very friendly and helpful staff.

The best feature is no maintenance. Other vendor's products have required a lot of maintaining, calibrating, cleaning, etc. These Advanced Sensors' units have required no operator attention. We currently have 2 Advanced Sensors units on offshore platforms in Thailand. They are performing beautifully. We also looked at many other OIW monitors before selecting the EX100 on one platform and their EX1000 on another platform. These Advanced Sensors' units have required no operator attention and they have freed up our lab technicians from sampling and analyzing TPH twice a day.
